Pastor Worley: Hater

Dear Pastor Worley: We Condemn Your Words Of Hatred And Cruelty http://huff.to/LsMZEw via @HuffPostRe

He would have to send a few closeted members of his flock who live in fear every single day. If you read this set yourself free and come out.

Regulators To Review Facebook IPO Issues

Regulators To Review Facebook IPO Issues http://huff.to/JviXFU via @HuffPostTech

I dislike facebook because I do not like the guy who allegedly created it. He is in league with people of similar character. If you are in the 98% people stop using this product and move on to the next thing.

Ben & Jerry's 'Euphori-Lock' Keeps Ice Cream Safe http://huff.to/Lqx2hX via @HuffPostFood

This is a great idea for the average joe but it will take a lot more than that to keep me away from their "Chunky Monkey" and their "Schweddy Balls."

Fortune Magazine Best Companies Top 100

http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/best-companies/2012/full_list/

My former company is listed in Fortune Magazine's "Top 100 Places to Work" and were listed there ten out of twelve years since it began in 2000. Currently they have half the number of employees that they did when I first started working there twelve years ago. During the time I worked there they acquired another large company and doubled the number of products offered. Yet they laid people off and lowered our benefits. They erected a huge building in India and promptly began to fill it. During 2007 they got rid of VIPs and middle managers who were liberal and probably not onboard for radical head chopping. Early 2008 some of the upper echelon started dumping their stock. They hired a hideous head chopper from Texas who laid off one thousand people right before Christmas 2008. They were not given any notice and were escorted out of the building like criminals. Most were longtime dedicated employees who had to cash out their stock options when they were worth very little. After laying off my entire team and sending all the jobs to India, I checked the companies website for a year. Roughly 98% of new paying jobs (not including the 200 unpaid interns) went to other countries and to managers who speak foreign languages and "can travel."  I will never work for a corporation ever again and I would like to see more support for small business.

The New York Times- To an Artist, It Was a Tribute to New York; to the Police, It Was a Fake Bomb

"To an Artist, It Was a Tribute to New York; to the Police, It Was a Fake Bomb " http://nyti.ms/MyJZfb

This was totally a benign gesture made by the artist who obviously loves NY and probably even this pathetic paranoid crazy country on its way to a modern day inquisition. Yes maybe he should have gotten a permit but this is way over the top, and the terrorist win. America home of the not so free and the not so brave. We live in a police state.

THE CORPORATE MINDSET

THE CORPORATE MINDSET- people, the individual, are expendable! Use people until you use them up then send them packing with a very small token of appreciation. Education is not the same as the software industry and cannot be treated as such. We do not want people from third world/other counties teaching our children. After years of dedication, working for little money and spending their own money on needed school supplies, Ms Gates suggests giving dedicated older teachers a swift kick in the behind. Getting rid of tenured college professors who have big paychecks and viable retirement funds is fine. What are low paid primary and secondary teachers supposed to do after getting canned? Particularly public school teachers who have put up with raising America's rude children for years. They should receive pro sports level paychecks. Our values are out of whack.

Microsoft receives colossal benefits from placing software in the educational system. This does not give them the right to input. If anything it should exclude their input due to conflict of interest. What is happening here? Are we privatizing our public schools and libraries?
